Can’t wait for Season 3? Read the manga then!

- There are 251 chapters at the moment.
We know how hard it is to wait for the next season of your favorite anime, and Jujutsu Kaisen is one of the biggest and most hyped series nowadays, so it’s obvious that a lot of anime-onlys don’t want to wait and want to join the most heated debates just now.
To do so they have to read the manga. However, a lot of them don’t want to read the entire thing from the beginning and want to continue from the chapter the anime stopped on. And we’re here to help them with that.
Where should you start?
As you know, the second season of the anime is the adaptation of two story arcs: Gojo's Past and Shibuya Incident. If you feel like there are things you need to revise from these two arcs as well, you should go to Chapters 65-79 (Gojo’s past) and 79-136 (Shibuya Incident).
However, if everything is clear and you just want to continue, there are other suggestions. The thing is that the final episode of Season 2 had scenes from various chapters, so let’s discuss them, and you will decide for yourself which one is the best to start with.
As we’ve said, the Shibuya Incident Arc ends with Chapter 136, but if you go straight to Chapter 137, you’ll still see familiar scenes because this is the part with Yuta and his promise to kill Yuji that you’ve already seen in Episode 23 of the second season.
Yuji’s clap that was at the very end of the last episode of Season 2 was in Chapter 139, but we wouldn’t suggest starting with this chapter as this way you might miss something.
So the best way to do this is to start reading from Chapter 138 because there’s some new content that hasn’t been in the anime yet, and Chapter 139 will repeat only the Yuji scene for you, so that’s not a big issue.
How long is the manga?
There are 251 chapters in the Jujutsu Kaisen manga now, and Chapter 252 is scheduled for March 4, 2024. Chapters are usually released weekly or once in two weeks, so you won’t have to wait for new parts of the story long.
As you understand, the manga is still ongoing, but fans have been saying for months that it’s coming to an end. At Jump Festa 2024, Akutami Gege announced that the Jujutsu Kaisen manga will end in 2024, so the finale is extremely close. Which means now is the best time to start reading it.
