Gojo's Not Dead? Jujutsu Kaisen Fan Theories Make a Solid Case

The future looks dim but we have hope.

Major Jujutsu Kaisen manga spoilers ahead!

We've recently discussed that fans feel a wee bit tired of the manga and its story-telling decisions, however, it doesn't mean that no one cares about this series anymore. Jujutsu Kaisen is still one of the most popular ongoing manga, and no matter how many issues the readers have with it, they're still pretty excited to see the finale.

We can't know for sure what events await us in the future of the series, but fans sure do have some ideas (and hopes).

Here's Your Proof Gojo Just Might Be Alive

Gojo's death still feels like an open wound for the fans, and it seems like they can't let it go. There are a number of theories trying to prove that this beloved character is still alive.

Fans remember Gege Akutami (the manga artist of JJK) stating that he wants either 3 of the main characters to die and 1 survive, or vice versa. As of now, we don't have any confirmation on Nobara's death, we can't know for sure what's happening to Megumi, and there's hoping that Gojo's death was actually not real.

Besides, Yuji has always wanted to die surrounded by the people he loves and who are close to him, so a couple of fans think all the deaths might have been a clever ruse with the goal of making us think the main protagonist will be the only survivor. The idea is that Nobara, Megumi and Gojo will all come back, and Yuji will be the one to die surrounded by them.

Seriously, we can't stress enough how fans want Gojo to be alive. Another theory is also about him. What if Gojo just played dead for the sake of his students? Without him and his protection, they are forced to grow as sorcerers and become stronger.

On top of that, fans mention that the last couple of chapters felt kinda rushed, and maybe it was all part of an intricate plan to make Sukuna let his guard down. Still, some readers feel like their hope of ever seeing Gojo again is purely delusional.

Other predictions revolve around Sukuna. Now that he's regained his original form, this cursed spirit has become even more dangerous than before. Nevertheless, fans see the possibility of some sort of a happy ending with Yuji defeating Sukuna and becoming one of the strongest sorcerers alive.

Kenjaku's death is another one of fans' expectations. They feel like Yuta and Maki might be just the ones to finally bring the end to this cursed spirit. Fans think it would be cool if Kenjaku tries to release all of his cursed spirits in an attempt to escape, but is stopped and defeated.
