Ragna Crimson

In the world of Ragna Crimson, which is probably our world after an apocalypse, there exist dragons. At the beginning of the anime, dragons were pests that hunters could get rid of. However, after the Dragon God’s favorite bakery closed, he orders a total annihilation of Lese Kingdom. It makes more sense when we later learn that the Dragon God might be a child, but in any case, higher-ranked dragons start destroying Lese, where Ragna lived together with Leo, a little dragon-hunting prodigy. To protect her, Ragna agrees to fuse his body with that of his future self, and with greater abilities and a dragon named Crimson, he vows to destroy all dragons, Crimson included.

The first cour has a lot happening, from Ragna leaving Leo behind to a dragon named Disas being destroyed by a team led by Crimson, to an epic fight between Ragna and the dragon named Ultimatia. All along, the anime shows its peculiar sense of humor, demonstrates very clearly that Crimson is a monster, and proves that Ragna’s vow will be difficult to fulfill. But this is good because it means that we will get more content, as the second cour is coming in January 2024.

New Visual and Fan Theories and Reactions

New visual prominently features Starlia and her team, showing that those characters will stay with us for a while. Before that, Ragna and Crimson were mostly using their own resources, and it would be nice for them to have more people to rely on. Slime is also in the visual; some fans were concerned he would not survive after making the dragon sisters angry, but it does not seem to be the case. Overall, the visual promises more action, this time with some allies on Ragna's side.

Fans are happy with the news of the second cour. Given that it starts on January 13, 2024, it will likely be continuous, and that means no cliffhangers or waiting beyond the usual one-week wait. Fans also recommend the anime to others, highlighting the fights and, of course, Crimson.

Crimson is a great character despite being pretty much a monster, and fans love him for it about as much as they hate Ultimatia. While the visual does not feature Ultimatia or any of the dragons save for Crimson, fans hope that Ragna will get another chance to kill her. In general, we are happy that we are getting a second cour, and we are looking forward to more cool fights and Crimson weirdness.
